Goodbye home, hello college. TCNJ freshmen have moved in.

You can't take it with you. Well, not all of it.

As incoming freshman at The College of New Jersey left the comfort of home and arrived on campus last week, they brought with them a precious few of their belongings which they felt they couldn't live without.

Computers, books, lamps, pillows, posters, stuffed animals, refrigerators, popcorn machines and microwave ovens were all among the items being carted into the dorms.

This is what the scene looked like:

Not all of the items in the dorms were what you'd expect.

Jack Ramina brought Rubik's Cubes. Twelve of them. All different.

Four years ago, when he was a freshman at Wall High School, his brother brought one home. Jack took a real interest and began getting tips from his brother, reading books and watching videos.

"Now after years of practicing non-stop all day," he said, "I've decreased my record from a minute to just about 10 seconds."

And there isn't just one type of Rubick's Cube anymore.

"I can actually solve about 12 different kinds of Rubik's Cubes. They range from a 2-by-2-by-2 cube, all the way up to a 7-by-7-by-7. And then there are a bunch of other ones that shape shift, so they aren't cubes."

At TCNJ, Jack will be studying mathematics with a specialization in statistics. He hasn't decided on a career path just yet.

But back at Norsworthy Hall, while his parents did intensive spritzing and spraying of his room, Jack showed us his stuff.

Try not to blink, or you might miss something.
